Extensive remodel planned for Grand Haven D&W Fresh Market
SpartanNash announces commitment to current location – not redevelop bowling alley site
GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN – August 13, 2015 – SpartanNash officials announced today the company has committed to a new long-term agreement and a multi-million dollar reinvestment in its D&W Fresh Market store located at 1116 Robbins Road in Grand Haven, Michigan. The company had investigated building a new store at the site of the Starlite Lanes on South Beacon Boulevard in Grand Haven, but decided a remodel of the current location was best for the community and in alignment with its environmental stewardship.
The extensive remodel is scheduled for 2016 and will include major interior and department upgrades and amenities, as well as a new exterior façade and repaved parking lot with LED lighting. Additional details will be released once the final scope of work and construction schedule is set.
Starlite Lanes will remain open for business and is currently taking signups for fall leagues.
