Kentwood, Hastings Family Fare Supermarkets add convenience with ‘Fast Lane’
The Fast Lane experience is now available at five Family Fare stores in West Michigan, with plans to expand to 25 stores by the end of the year
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – For families on the go or anyone short on time and looking for quality and convenience, two additional Family Fare Supermarkets now offer Fast Lane – the click-and-collect program that provides a seamless online grocery shopping experience.
Store guests at the Kentwood and Hastings Family Fare locations can now join the Fast Lane, allowing them to easily order their groceries online at familyfarefastlane.com and pick them up curbside. The Kentwood Family Fare is located at 6127 Kalamazoo Ave. in Kentwood. The Hastings Family Fare is located at 902 W. State St. in Hastings. In May, the Hastings store celebrated a remodel, which included the addition of a Starbucks kiosk, enclosed cases in produce, fresh-rolled sushi, pet center and upgraded bottle return machines.
Approximately five new jobs are created each time a SpartanNash retail store offers Fast Lane to its store guests. Fast Lane personal shoppers are also Family Fare associates, allowing the company to own the experience from start to finish and enabling personal shoppers to build relationships with Fast Lane customers.
The Fast Lane program was first launched at the Family Fare Supermarket in Grandville and expanded to the Metro Health and Byron Center Family Fare Supermarkets in July. Fast Lane will continue to expand over the next few years, growing to 25 stores in Michigan in 2017 and up to 50 stores in the company’s nine-state footprint in 2018.
To celebrate the launch of the click-and-collect experience at the Kentwood and Hastings Family Fare stores, customers can waive the pick fee on their first three Fast Lane orders using the code “FASTLANE”.
Orders placed at familyfarefastlane.com are shopped by Fast Lane personal shoppers, who focus on selecting quality items from each aisle of the store. Store guests can also include notes for Fast Lane shoppers to follow, allowing them to request green bananas and thick-sliced ham from the deli.
Store guests with yes loyalty accounts – and repeat Fast Lane shoppers – will automatically have their preferences loaded into their Fast Lane account, making it even easier to select commonly purchased items or sort by department, sale items or dietary restrictions when placing an order.
Annual and monthly Fast Lane memberships are also available at familyfarefastlane.com to provide Fast Lane shoppers with additional savings.
All orders placed before 3 p.m. will be available for same-day pickup.
