Compliance with Michigan Executive Order 2020-147

Effective Monday, July 13 and in compliance with Michigan Executive Order 2020-147, all Family Fare, D&W Fresh Market, VG’s Grocery, Martin’s Super Markets, ValuLand, Forest Hills Foods and Ada Fresh Market stores in Michigan require all customers to wear a face covering to enter. When you visit your local store, you will see signs posted at the entrance of the facility and an associate at the front door, reminding store guests of the new law.

We recognize that not everyone is medically able to wear a mask or face covering, and out of respect for their privacy, we will not be asking them to validate their medical condition. We are all in this together, and we hope our store guests will join us in complying with our policy as able.

Since Monday, April 27, all SpartanNash associates have been required to wear face masks or face coverings until further notice. Associates may continue to wear their personally provided face mask or face covering or use a company-provided face mask.

SpartanNash also continues to conduct onsite health screenings at all locations daily to ensure associates are symptom-free as they arrive onsite to begin their workday or shift, as well as instructing associates on proper hand hygiene and social distancing reminders. We continue to closely monitor the CDC guidelines and recommendations for personal protective equipment and will continue to comply with any potential updates to recommendations for the health and safety of our associates.
