Updates to our hours of operation and other measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus

To our family of valued store guests,

As we continue to navigate the coronavirus pandemic, we remain committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of our family of associates, customers and communities and supporting health officials and government leaders to contain the virus.

In addition to the precautions we previously communicated, we have recently implemented a number of other changes to our store operations that we would like you to be aware of, including adjusting operating hours for stores previously open 24 hours. For now, operating hours at these locations will be 6 a.m. to midnight daily. During this time, our store associates will thoroughly sanitize and restock the store.

Please note that the Metro Family Fare in Wyoming, Mich. will remain open for 24 hours, as will the in-store pharmacy at that location.

To continue to best serve our store guests, we have also suspended service at self-serve areas in all stores, including salad bars, soup bars and donut cases. Instead, you can pick up these items in prepackaged containers, made fresh every day by SpartanNash retail associates with the highest cleanliness and food safety standards. We’ve also closed our café areas and stopped all sampling for the time being.

You may see other changes or temporary closings in the coming days as we continue to monitor the impact of the coronavirus and adhere to local, state and federal guidance.

We know you depend on us for the food, medicine and cleaning supplies you need – and we thank you for putting your trust in us; because of that, we continue to work with suppliers, our distribution centers and our store operations teams to ensure that these critical items are reaching our stores as quickly as possible.

Our SpartanNash Coronavirus Preparedness Task Force continues to monitor this rapidly changing global health situation, and we thank you for your continued trust and patience.
