Store upgrades blend modern convenience with the hometown feel Harrison shoppers know and love
HARRISON, Mich. — March 26, 2026 — The Harrison Family Fare® recently completed a major store refresh just in time for the community’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, delivering a brighter, more modern shopping experience while preserving the hometown feel locals know and love.
The remodel introduces expanded meat, produce and floral departments, offering greater variety and more convenient access to fresh essentials. Local shoppers and tourists will also notice refreshed deli and bakery spaces, along with a nostalgic candy and soda section that blends classic favorites into the updated store layout.
The Family Fare refresh was celebrated with a kid-led ribbon cutting and a check presentation to Harrison Community Schools, reinforcing the store’s role as a gathering place for families and community events. These upgrades ensure the Harrison community has a first-class grocery destination that continues to give back through partnerships with Harrison Community Schools, Clare County 4-H and local Veterans organizations.
