Direct Your Dollars™

Our Direct Your Dollars™ Program is Ending March 1, 2023

SpartanNash is committed to building local relationships as part of our corporate social responsibility initiatives. Our Direct Your Dollars™ program is one of the many ways in which we partner with our retail communities to help our neighbors. We’re proud to say that, since 2016, SpartanNash has granted over $2.2 million to nonprofit partners throughout the states we serve.

While we appreciate those who participated in the program, we are excited to offer new, updated and more efficient giving programs for our community partners, and therefore have decided to sunset the Direct Your Dollars™ program. The final date to submit receipts is March 1, 2023.

In place of Direct Your Dollars™, we are encouraging community partners to participate in the Our Family Cares program or work directly with their local SpartanNash-owned retail store to request product donations. Our Family Cares has already touched many lives by sponsoring local groups that are making a real difference in the community. To see the Our Family Fares impact or submit your nonprofit organization to be a partner in progress, visit ourfamilyfoods.com/our-family-cares.

We realize the importance of giving back to the communities we serve and are excited to provide these improved programs that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our nonprofit organizations.

The updated payout information for nonprofit organizations who submit Direct Your Dollars receipts before March 1 is below:

  • $150,000 or more – $1,000 check
  • $125k-$149,999 – $250 store gift card
  • $100k-$124,999 – $150 store gift card
  • Below $100k – $0

Our donations for the Direct Your Dollars sunset will be capped at $50,000, so organizations should be encouraged to submit any outstanding receipts as early as possible. Once the $50,000 amount has been reached, no additional payments will be issued, regardless of the quantity of receipts collected.

When you are ready to submit your final DYD receipts, have your designated point of contact fill out the “Direct Your Dollars Submission Form.”
